About Teacher
I have ample experience in various reputed schools during my professional journey and I have learnt a lot and refined myself a lot in terms of academics and other skills in the capacity of an English Teacher taking Literature and Language in classes 11th and 12th. I am a Post Graduate in English from IGNOU university and have done my B.Ed. I have proficiency in teaching Grammar and creative writing skills. I was working with Doon International School but had to leave due to some health issues. I worked there for 3 years as PGT English. During my tenure, I was the Assembly in charge and used to prepare the students to enunciate the News, thought for the day and speech on any relevant national and international topic as chosen for the day. I attended various career counselling programs in Doon International School. I conducted my duties as the class teacher, Facebook content writer for various events conducted from time to time, and trained the students to participate in Debate, extempore, elocution and many more such activities in Inter School competitions. To update myself with the latest teaching methodology, I completed google certified trainer course and used the methods such as Blended learning to make teaching interesting during the online sessions during the pandemic. I have ample experience and because of my passion for the language, the class 12th result was commendable. I am techno-savvy and can handle MS word and excel to compile the result and make exam papers. I attended the CBSE workshop as the CBSE Resource person on 6th and 7th of December 2024 and learnt a lot during the workshop. I have conducted events like preparing the students for anchoring the Cultural programs and have been an anchor myself. I was the Master of Ceremonies to conduct the sports day.
