Assistant Professor | Chemistry Educator | MSc Chemistry (NIT Calicut)
I am a dedicated Chemistry educator with a strong academic background and one year of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry at Christ College of Engineering. I hold an MSc in Chemistry from National Institute of Technology Calicut and a BSc in Chemistry from Vimala College Autonomous.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding, encouraging scientific curiosity, and making chemistry accessible through real-world applications. I have experience teaching undergraduate engineering students and guiding them in developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
My academic interests include organic synthesis, fluorescent materials, spectroscopy, and chemical research. During my postgraduate studies, I worked on the synthesis and characterization of BODIPY fluorophores, gaining hands-on experience with modern analytical techniques such as IR and NMR spectroscopy.
I am passionate about helping students achieve academic excellence through interactive learning, clear explanations, and personalized guidance. My goal is to inspire confidence in learners and foster a deeper appreciation for chemistry.
